Those who achieve this unit standard will be able to conduct assessments within their fields of expertise. This unit standard will contribute towards the achievement of a variety of
qualifications, particularly within the fields of Education Training and
Development Practices and Human Resource Development.
People credited with this unit standard are able to carry out assessments in a fair, valid, reliable and a practicable manner that is free of all bias and discrimination, paying particular attention to the three groups targeted for redress: race, gender and disability. In particular, people credited with this unit standard will be able to:
- Demonstrate understanding of outcomes-based assessment;
- Prepare for assessments;
- Conduct assessments;
- Provide feedback on assessments; and
- Review assessments.
Entry Requirements
It is assumed that those who enroll for this course have no previous experience in assessment, but have evaluative expertise within the area of learning in which they intend to assess. Communication and Numeracy on NQF Level 4.

Welcome to the Sondela Academy short course called Facilitate Learning using a variety of given methodologies (SAQA ID 117871) Level 5 with 10 credits.
This unit standard is for those who enjoy teaching others by making use of a variety of different ways. It gives recognition for any person able to facilitate a group of individuals through a learning process.
People credited with this unit standard will be able to:
- Plan and prepare for facilitation
- Facilitate learning, and
- Evaluate learning and facilitation
FOR WHOM IS THE COURSE?
This course is ideal for any person in the Education Training and Development Practices field as well as in the Human Resources field. Any individual classified as a subject matter expert can also complete this course to assist them with the correct methods of teaching those around them and the correct methods of relaying their knowledge and skills.
COURSE DURATION: 4 Days

This unit standard will provide recognition for individuals who perform or intend to perform one-to-one training on the job for individuals who perform or intend to perform one-to-one training on the job. Formal recognition will enhance their employability and also provide a means to identify competent trainers or coaches.
People credited with this unit standard will be able to:
- Prepare for one-to-one training on the job;
- Conduct training sessions;
- Monitor and report on learner progress; and
- Review training.
